La mañana de este lunes la Academia de Hollywood anunció los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2022, en su edición número 94, que como cada año se entregarán en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles. Los candidatos, desde hoy mismo, no dejarán de soñar con que sus nombres sean los mencionados como ganadores la noche del próximo 27 de marzo. 

Los filmes The Power of the Dog (El poder del perro) -con 12 nominaciones-, Dune (10), Belfast (7) y West Side Story (7) encabezan las nominaciones a los Oscar que fueron anunciadas este martes. Drive My Car, de Ryusuke Hamaguchi, adaptada de un cuento de Haruki Murakami, ha sido nominado tanto en la categoría de Mejor Película como de Mejor Película Internacional, como ocurrió hace unos años con Roma, de Alfonso Cuarón. El filme El callejón de las almas perdidas del mexicano Guillermo del Toro está nominado en la categoría a Mejor Película pero, extrañamente, él no fue considerado para Mejor Director, y también en la categoría a Mejor Película Animada, está nominado el mexicano Carlos López Estrada, quien codirigió Raya y el último dragón.
